The record for embroidering the maximum number of divine pictures with verses was set by Madhavi Borikar (born on September 26, 1945) of Nagpur, Maharashtra. She embroidered 49 divine pictures with verses (based on the Bhagavad Gita), which were compiled into a book titled ‘Kalekaḍuna Adhyatmakaḍe’.
